2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Owen Eber Marredeth is/was the child of George Eber Marredeth and Anna Kinast. George Eber was the son of George Meredith (not different spelling) and Elizabeth Carnahan. I am Owen's 1st cousin 3x removed. George and Elizabeth Carnahan Meredith divorced sometime after 1880. The Meredith children (there were 4: Elizabeth Almeda, Abram H ((who died when he was 20 and is buried in Michigan)), Estella H Meredith Meddaugh ((who lived and is buried in Wisconsin)), and George Eber scattered or moved with their mother from Sandy Beach, Huron County, Michigan, where they were all living in 1880, to parts unknown. Estella married in 1892 in Au Sable, Iosco County, Michigan, William Levett Meddaugh and they moved to Wisconsin. George Eber and Anna Kinast were married in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1906. George died in Illinois in 1933. I have not yet found when Anna died. I believe she moved back to Wisconsin as that is where I found Owen and his sister, Audrey, in high school year books on Ancestry.com. If you are related to Owen Marredeth, I would love to hear from you. deniseannATonlyarethusa.com
