2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
We were kids in a Brooklyn neighborhood in the 70's. Andrew had long curly hair, the sweetest smile and boyish cute looks. He was quiet, easy to be with, and a sincere warmth which permeated without words. A class act dresser, a hard worker with an innovative mind. Everyone liked Andy. His favorite saying was "Good Evening" with a little chuckle. He was my first real love. That day when we talked on those Greenwich Village steps, a passerby out of nowhere said "I just have to tell you that your girlfriend is glowing". That's the effect Andrew had on me. Time moves on and life happens but loving memories live on forever. I had always wished him a life of happiness with a wife and children. Sadly, I just found out this news now. Andy had given me a guitar for my birthday which I still have today over 30 years later. My guitar gently weeps for you. RIP Andy. I remember.
