Robert W. Ratliff
'Old Bob' Ratliff served in the 2nd Ohio Volunteer Cavalry and 12th OVC as colonel. He was breveted Brigadier General in 1865.
Extended Mines Family
Six of the 18 people in this photo are positively identified - 4 of 5 boys in front row, and their parents, seated in the center. At first I thought the others were Lewis's children from his first marriage and their families, but I realized the ages weren't right. Then I noticed that some of the faces looked like those identified in other photos and I think they are Carrie's nieces - Emma and Alice - and their families. Taken at the Mines family farm in Warren, Ohio, about 1910. Lewis died 1912, so definitely before that.

Rhea Donahue, Warren, OH
Rhea Emma Donahue, before she married Roscoe Mines. She was born 1898 in Warren, OH, died 1935, of complications of scarlet fever.

Uncle Ed and Jim
The back of this photo says Uncle Ed and Uncle Jim Mines. Since this photo belonged to Dorothy Mines Rishel, I believe Ed must be Edmund Fittro and Jim must be James Harvey Mines. Ed Fittro married Jim's sister Lydia Minerva Mines. Jim died in 1926, so this photo has to be dated prior to that.
