My Grandfather was a very brave and good man. He Built a successful family grocery store in Alameda CA, after the war. He returned to El Paso, Texas and entered civil service as a bus driver at Biggs Field, Texas. He Married Consuelo Fox , daughter of General Claudio Fox and aunt to President Vicente Fox of Mexico. He and Consuelo had two daughters Yvonne and Esther.
