A photo of Eddie Evans. Found this among my grandmother's belongings. Name on the top said "Eddie Evans" and the date was September 1938, which would have made my grandmother 19. She lived in Chico, CA at that time. Her name was Elizabeth Nourse Goodwin and she had a twin named Katherine.

Dorothy Day
A photo of Dorothy Day and Elizabeth Nourse Goodwin. Found this among my grandmother's (right) belongings. Noted Dorothy Day at the top and August 1938 at the bottom. Grandmother lived in Sacramento and Chico, California and she (and her identical twin) was born in 1919. Maybe somebody out there knows who Dorothy Day is....?

Halloween Carousel?
This photo of a woman dressed as a carousel may have been a costume for Halloween - or it may have been just a fanciful costume for a photo shoot. The name of the woman is unknown, as is the date and place of the photo, but it's looks to be from the 1910's - and she looks like she has a lampshade on her head!

Anna Lucille Marks of Chico, Butte County, CA was born on June 1, 1886 in Pennsylvania United States, and died at age 85 years old in October 1971 in Chico, CA.
George Nourse Marks of Santa Maria, Santa Barbara County, CA was born on October 14, 1887 in Santa Ana, Orange County, and died at age 84 years old on September 12, 1972 in Santa Barbara County.
Mildred E Hillman was born on February 28, 1904, and died at age 76 years old on March 16, 1980. Mildred Hillman was buried at Willamette National Cemetery
