My oncle Daniel Kimelman (I carry the same name after him) was not born in Egypt but in Poland in 1920. He and his familly (my grandparents and my father) came to Israel (as jewish immigrants) in 1935. He was killed in a car accident, in mission while serving in the british army in Egypt in 1942 and was burried there. He spoke well Hebrew English and Polish, wrote and published poèmes (he had written) and made translations of novels.
