The Bačvar clan left the old country for better life I hope fellow brothers and sisters made the right decision making a new life in Canada or U.S.A my grandfather Mr.Stjepan Bačvar at the age of 22 made this journey across the Atlantic ocean to Canada I wish I had the opportunity to meet him my father told me he was a gentleman with a great sense of humor his children and wife ment every thing to him for me it's very important to take in all the information about Croatia and be very humble to my roots please any questions or information about the best way to find about my heritage is very grateful thank you kindly take care 🇨🇦🇭🇷❣️100 % proud

Mr.Stjepan Bačvar born July 11th 1904 in the village of Bosiljevo Croatia grew up on a turkey farm he is a very smart gentleman new 7 beautiful different languages I don't have much information about him witch is a shame his mother is possible a Mara H Gračan and possibly father a FRANJO Bačvar or Tomo Bačvar at the age of 22 he got a passport in Karlovac then traveled to Cherbourg France and set sail for Canada with big dreams and a future with he worked in the mineing industry with our any dictatorship met his future wife Elizabeth Percival Bacvar and had 7 beautiful children he passed away May 16th 1971 my grandfather was my father's hero just like my father is mine my grandfather deserves to be recognized and appreciated for the family he created ❣️🇭🇷🇨🇦 one story my father told me it was a winter Storm my father was coming home from work driving carefully he sees a gentleman having a hard time walking my father stopped the gentleman was his father my father asked why didn't you tell me I would of been there my grandfather being himself didn't want to bother anyone.Jednog dana ću slijediti svoj san i otići u domovinu i vidjeti gdje je živio moj djed thank you kindly I hope you take the time to read.
