A Daguerreotype of My great great grandparents on their wedding day, Oct. 29, 1854: Martin Van Buren Jones (1831-1884) and Maria R. Vaughan (1837-1926) on their wedding day. They met on the Oregon Trail while traveling in a party going from Illinois to NW Oregon in 1852.
