Harriett (Hutton) Fowell was born in 1873. She was in a relationship with Ridley Fowell, and had a child Ridley William Fowell. Harriett Fowell died at age 77 years old in 1950 in Aberdeen, Aberdeen City County, Scotland United Kingdom. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Harriett (Hutton) Fowell.
Ridley William Fowell was born in 1898. His mother Florence Nightingale (nee Sinclair) died in giving birth. His father Ridley Fowell- senior surveyor of shipping for Lloyds at Aberdeen married again within the year to one Harriet Hutton. She had one child to Ridley, A boy, Rex Fowell born in 1904.
Other children of Ridley (and Florence) left home when they were of age. Ridley left for America in 1924. He arrived at Ellis Island from Glasgow with $180 cash and a desire to remain in the US. He indicated that he would be staying at the YMCA. That's a far as we got with his history other than he died at Vineland NJ in 1973. Would appreciate any other information about Ridley William Fowell. We have researched Fowell family history back to the 1700's.
