Ethelyn Geneva Rinehart was born on May 3, 1916 in Villa Grove, Douglas County, Illinois, USA to parents Henry S Rinehart (1892-1964) and Eva M. Rinehart (1892-1984). She had siblings Rexford H. Rinehart (1917-1991) and Herschel Robert Rinehart (1920-2004). She was married to James Harlie Comeens (1921-2002) and the couple had two children together, Robert Daily (died 2008) and Rolland Dailey (died 2014). Ethelyn worked for Caterpillar Inc. and later worked for Miracle Mart. She was employed there for eight years before retiring in 1960.
