6 friends at some coastal resort. Emily Spicer is on the far right as you look at the photo, with a light coloured belt. Canvas huts are seen presumably for changing purposes.
Emily was my mother. She would be about 20-25 when this photo was taken. This would be before her marriage to my father. I have no idea who the other people are in the photo. They may be workmates from the Thames Board Mills where she worked before she married. TBM is now split into different groups of industries.
