2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Johnny L Geis of Archer City, Archer County, TX was born on January 15, 1951, and died at age 53 years old on February 4, 2004.

If you look up the word “passion” you’d see a picture of Johnny. He was fill of vigor and a thirst for success in a fast competitive city. Johnny never missed a day of work. He was the first one at job site and last one to leave. Johnny was down to earth and a true friend if given the chance. He loved all kids and especially his own. Amber, Johnny Lee, Nathaniel, and Abbegayle....but don’t forget the pretend babies him and Diane raised at home....Blue, Daphanie, Hazel and Augustus, Joe Cool, Junior, Hansel and Gretel. He also had his grand babies Jayden and Wade. And his Niece Shyla and Nephews Lance and Aaron. Johnny chose to leave this life young and free. His last months were spent in the New Mexico desert. He visited almost every casino from Colorado to New Mexico. He slept in and drank beer relaxing like a lizard basting on a warm rock. He carved a couple walking sticks and let Diane take the wheel with no fear. He let her fly and he actually embraced flying himself. He talked to God a lot. And had a humbleness as if these would be his last days. He even made a ton a friend in the small city he moved to. God broke the mold when he created Johnny. He will be missed. I love you Honey Bunny. Your a Baal Muthafocker!
