Roy Edward Miller was born on October 30, 1926, and died at age 71 years old on February 22, 1998. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Roy Edward Miller.

I know nothing about my Great Grandfather William P. Miller, and currently can not even find the correct one that was married to my Great Grandmother Eliza Ann Marker.

Robert was my Biological Father, and during his life he held many jobs, serving in the military during ww2, and also having many children through 3 marriages and two affairs', both of which produced children. He worked for the J.H Hunt Trucking Company, Held a position as a security guard for the old Kane security Company, in later life forming his own motorcycle club, and owning his own motorcycle and being a gear head [ meaning he was deep into fixing and repairing his cars ]Lastly he was also a licensed minster, documented though the Church of Latter Day Saints, where he received his license. All together, he left behind 10 children, his first two sons, sadly died young or shortly after birth. Today, there are a total of 8 living children, possibly 9, that are his and part of his legacy.

Roy Ira Miller is my grandfather. I never knew him. He passed away before I was born. Still Struggling to find his father William P. Miller, whom was married to my Great Grandmother, Eliza Ann Marker. Roy Ira, or Ira worked hard all his life to better himself, and provide for his family. Worked as a Machinist on band saws building furniture and then, got a job with the Gulbransen Piano company in Chicago Illinois. He worked there til he retired. Not sure where he died, though thinking since he lived in Chicago Illinois an listed in the 1920,1930 and 1940 federal census, that he died there as well, but can not find any records of his passing or where buried.
