World War II Wedding
This wedding photograph was taken at Ft. Lewis, WA in Dec. 1941 or Jan. 1942. The best man, Lester Puppe from Hensel, ND was killed in August 1943 during the invasion of southern Europe. Lester is buried at a military cemetery in Italy. The only information is that the bride was from Willow City, ND.
