I was very close with my mother. She had a passion for learning and culture. She has a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. Mom had done some modeling and was always up on her appearance. She encouraged us, taught us to stick up for ourselves, mom did not let anyone step on her. She was a lot of fun, hung out at Starbucks with her or margarita at chili's.
She married David Gobba on Valentine's day, early 1970's. The marriage took place in Mexico at a Catholic church in the city square. Not speaking any English she studied hard and took her naturalization test and became a U.S.citizen.
