My mother was supremely warm and loving. She lost her beloved mother (aged 45) when she was only 23. She lost her first boyfriend, and subsequently suffered from depression, during WWII, and married my father, a Holocaust survivor, when she was 36, on July 4, 1954. She lost a newborn boy before she had me and my twin sister, Bonnie.
She was beloved by her nieces and nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends, and our young friends too. She was short in stature but had a huge heart and happy face, despite having endured much sorrow in her life. She is still greatly missed by those who knew her.
