John Murphy died at age 70 years old on September 27, 1985 at Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital, Austin Health Waterdale Rd, in Heidelberg West, Australia County, and was buried on October 1, 1985 at Altona Memorial Park Dohertys Rd, in Laverton North.
