This I believe is a picture of my Grandfather Nicholas Coffey son of Hanna Coffey from Cork Ireland. If you can help me find out anything about him or his Mother Hanna Coffey please email me. We know nothing about this part of our family and havent a clue as to where to look. Thank You.I foud out that Nick was born May 18 1876 I believe it was in Kerry Ire. He was a Machinist at Fore River Ship Bldg. in Quincey, Mass. at age 42. He lived in Boston. This came from Military records.Navy

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Where is this Coffey House?
Where is this Coffey House?
This photo has signs advertising a restaurant called the Coffey House, the United Woolen Mills, a meat market/grocery named Snider's, and the building to the right is a YMCA. This photo was among some of my mother's things.

My great-grandfather was George Wibel. He disappeared soon after my grandfather was born. No one heard from him again. They lived in Indiana. According to some family members George ran a coffee(ey?) house at one time but they don't know where. This may or may not be the place. Does anyone recognize the location?
