I found this photo being sold on ebay and copied the photo for whomever may belong to this.
This family group of Austin Pelham taken in 1862 while home on furlough from service in the ranks of the Northern Army. His Wife Alvira Buck is holding Claude the youngest age 1 year, Next to her is Agusta aged 5 next is Alvira aged 7 and on father's lap is Auma (sp?) Aged 3. Mrs Pelham made her own and the childrens dresses. Signed by Cousin Fred N. Higgins or Higgrus ??
I do not know who would know these folks. I do not know why it was on ebay, but I thought someone if they are related would really be happy to get this photo even though it is a scan.
