About my family:
My great grand parents were associated with and previous members of the Chippewa Indian tribe in Mecosta County Michigan Reservation In Mount pleasant Michigan moved to Morton Township in Mecosta county where they farmed and had their children and my great grandfather Oliver Ernest Hollenbeck passed away in 1949. My great grandmother Emma Smith Hollenbeck survived him and remained a few years on the family farm but abandoned the property and moved with my grand father Ernest Oliver Hollenbeck and my grandmother Grace Marie Hollenbeck (Page) 11/08/1917 to 08/11/1996 my mothers parents

She was 2 years older than me we grew up on the north east side of town I remember when I was young she loved the country song “don’t make my brown eyes blue”. As a teen which is how I remember her, She liked Hubba Bubba bubble gum and Big Red gum, Pepsi and Mt Dew. Combos pizza snacks Whoppers burgers from Burger King and smoked Marlboro Light 100’s as a teen.
