Japanese Geisha Postcard - 1930's
A post card photo of a Japanese Geisha that was printed in Japan maybe in the early 1930's. I have ten post cards that were given to me by a Japanese army officer that we had transported from China back to Japan. That would have been in October of 1945.

A post card that was printed in Japan maybe in the early 1930's. I have ten post cards that were given to me by a Japanese army officer that we had transported from China back to Japan. That would have been in October of 1945.

Wade Firmin, second on left, second row from top. Taken about 1943 or 1944 at the Delta Shipyards in New Orleans, LA. Wade Firmin was my wife's father. He was 45 years of age at the time the picture was taken.

Spruce Goose, CA 1947
The Spruce Goose flying boat. I was aboard the Mataco at Long Beach harbor when the Spruce Goose made her one and only flight about one mile and about 70 feet above the water. The "Spruce Goose" was conceived of and built by Howard Hughes.
