Pete Gradeski ?
Pete Gradeski ?
Found this photo in my late Grandmother’ album with a note on the page that says “Uncle Pete Gradosky, moved to Chicago to become a bartender”. I had never heard of an Uncle Pete before, and cannot find any record of him in anything I got from my Grandmother, or genealogy records about my Great Grandmother (her maiden name we have always spelt Gradeski). I have also searched for a Pete Gradosky (as well as similar/soundex names, and every variation of Gradeski I have found in my genealogy records) and cannot find someone whose information matches up enough for me to research farther to see if he is my Great Uncle Pete. Hoping someone here might recognize him or the photographer and can give me an idea on where to search next. The photo is black/white/sephia on a thicker paper, almost post card style – in fact the back looks like it was supposed to be from what I can see/read, it had been glued to some paper at some point, and I cannot see/read the whole back – and is stamped in raised lettering “Gehrig 1416 W Madison St. Chicago”

Does anyone recognize him? Does anyone have an idea of when the photo was taken based on it's style? Does anyone have a guess of how hold he would be in this photo?
People in photo include: Pete Gradosky
