2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Patricia Jean Rice Lamiette.

Richard was a very loving man. He had a great sense of humor and got along well with others. He was a great cook and loved to eat. He enjoyed the sea and left the service of his country only due to illness. He loved the Navy as he loved to be on board sailing the seas.
All those that knew him were aware of his keen sense of humor and high intelligence. He was extremely well read and kept up with current events. His homes were cluttered with The Wall Street Journal and newspapers like The Washington Post and New York Times.
He would have loved to had sons, but enjoyed his daughters. He would have loved being the grandfather of four boys.
