This Customs House was located in the village and not at the exact border line. It is currently the Myers Bldg.

William Robare son of Joseph Robert and Eliza Parker daughter of Peter Parker.

Boatman Jerome Bartholomew Sr
Photo was taken with daughter and grandson, who he lived with after retirement from the boat business. Jerome lived with his dau. Emma J. Bartholomew, who was married to a Clark Currie.

Irishman John Leggett
John Leggett was b in No Ireland abt. 1823 and migrated to L'Acadie Quebec, Canada and married and then moved to Champlain, NY, where he died abt 1910.
He and his wife Jane Morgan raised six children,of nine born to them, to adulthood.
