She also had daughters Alexandra Veres from Oceanside, NY , Joan Janetakis, from Island Park, NY. She would alternate living in the 3 homes New York. She had another daughter, Helen Karalis from Framingham, MA.

Yiayia Kantaroo was the cutest yiayia in the world! She was short and round and lovable! She used to cut across the school yard from our house to walk to her son's house about 10 blocks away. My brother was out on lunch break at the school with his friends and he told them that she is a wrestler in Greece and they believed him. LOL So many memories of our Yiayia. Forever in our hearts!!!
