My great great grandfather, Harrington Earl Dempsey, b.Apr 19, 1827 he married Harriet Catherine Greer(b.1835; in 1849; d.Nov 1880)he died May 12, 1897. They had 13 children

Leila Belle Jones Rodgers
Liela Belle Jones married Joseph Thomas Rodgers. She was from DeKalb County, he from Rockdale County, Georgia. They married February, 1906. This picture was taken by Joseph Thomas Rodgers' brother Ben who was a photographer in Rockdale County, Georgia.

Mayhayley Lancaster
This is a cropped picture of the Lancaster Family. Mayhayley plays her musical instrument - her grandmother Abigale Smith Thaxton is behind her. Mayhayley was the fortune teller who helped solve crimes - especially the one written about in "Murder In Coweta County." She was also the subject of the book "Oracle of the Ages."

Elizabeth Wallace (Jones) is great-grandmother, Missouri (Dempsey) Jones is grand mother, the children are Missouri's grandchildren (Mother was Leila Bell Jones Rodges; father was Joseph Thomas Rodgers) This picture was probably made in Atlanta on Josephine Street, where the children lived with their parents.
