Lillie Rose was born Illinois. She married David George Herstine (Hierstein) in 1886. They had 8 children: James, Harold, Harry, Florence, David, Helen, Sadie and Jim. Lillie died in Oakdale,Stanislaus County, California. She lived in Nevada and California most of her life.

Aaron Kennedy: Husband of Sarah Charlotte Kane. Father of George. Birthplace Indiana. Married Sarah in Hopeveille/Clarke County/Iowa Aug.1, 1864.May have served in the Civil War for the South. Died in Oakdale, California in 1904, burried in Oakdale Citizens Cemetery. His wife later married James Barnes. Sarah was born in Illinois in 1847, she died in Oakdale in 1925.
