Bertha was my grandmother's (Mary) sister. She was the 5th child of John & Catherine Hicswa (Hyczwa?). Siblings: (Stanley, who died as an infant in Korcyna, Poland), Joseph, Adam, Mary Kowaski Kurtz & Estelle Switek. She was born & raised in Wallington, NJ. She was also my mother's (Kathryn Kowalski Glinski) godmother. As I remember her, she was a very sweet lady.
