2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

My dad, Joseph Leonard Gueci, married my mother, Maria Estella Bores in 1958.
He had 3 children, Vincent Vito, Nina Grace and Joseph Robert. He is survived by. ONLY, Joseph Rober And, was predeceased by Vincent in 1985 and Nina, at her own hand, in.1970,
His 2 sons were his pride and joy, with Vincet joining The United States Navy and Joseph going on, to become a Federal Officer for The United States, Department of Homeland Security, and, subsequently, being decoded by The Congress of The United America.
My dad and mother were divorced, circa 1971. And, dad passed away on June 23, 2013.
Joseph Gueci was a loving father, who never spoke an angry word, against his ex wife, in front of their children.
His happiest memories were of the little time we had, together, as a family, until outside forces caused the breakup of our family.
Dad loved his children, his parents and even his ex wife, along with The Yankees, The Rangers and Jets, in that order.
And though he was tormented, by what he had chosen, after his separation from his FIRST wife, and subsequent marriage to an unfaithful, non law abiding woman that had suffered mental illness from bad parents, until his departure, from this life, he always loved to make children happy and people laugh.
In the end, his mind and heart had returned to love the mother of his sons.
His last words were "Be good. Stay away from trouble."
They were the lasting words that he'd told me, for as long as I can remember.
