About me:
Descendant of Martin and Magdalena Hestin, arrival Dec 15, 1854 in NY. Martin died on the voyage. Magdalena left with 5 children. Family in the New Baden, IL area. I descend from their son Wendelin who married Bena Grosholz/Grossholz. Several of the Wendelin's sons changed last name to Hasting and one son changed last name to Hastings.
