2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

She married my father Lester Spurlock. I spoke with her briefly after my Grandmother Nina Hymer notified me of his passing. I also spoke with her daughter who was not to pleasant with me as I merely wanted to get to know the person my Father was. Through my Aunt Sis (Mildred Moore) and my Uncle Tom Hymer, I was able to grab onto the wonderful man he was. Ruth must have been a wonderful and strong and loving woman to have captured the heart of my Father. Its just a shame that I was not able to get to know her prior to her passing in 2006. RIP Ruth and to Ruth's children, you are blessed in my book as you were able to have a relationship with my Dad, as all I have are pictures.. God bless
