Lillian Hartsfield Lee was a dear friend to Ruth Fredrickson Monatelli from 1962 until their deaths, less than two days apart, in 1995. They loved each other like sisters, and argued like sisters. Lillian was mother to three daughters, (Marie) Irene Lee, (Mary) Stephanie Lee, and Sylvia Susan Lee. Ruth had one son, David Monatelli. I am Stephanie Lee, Lillian’s only surviving daughter. Sylvia Susan Lee was mother to one son, Michael Steven Lee, born 4/15/83.
