Photos Added
Myrtle & Unidentified Man
Family photo of Myrtle Hansen and unidentified male, possibly early 1900s.
Photographer A. H. Quinn, Artesian, SD
Unknown if Hansen is Myrtle's maiden or married name. Possibly related to
Anna Amelia HANSEN, married Sanborn County, SD Feb. 1887 to Joseph Freland
PATTON. Anna HANSEN's parents: Henry HANSEN & Christina Hamn, b. Germany
Update: Turns out that Myrtle is my Great Grandmother Annie Hansen's half-sister. Annie's mother passed away and her father remarried and then had seven more children. I have found a descendant of my Great Grandmother's half-sister, who has this photograph and more. An interesting note, Myrtle did NOT marry the young man in the photo and no one in the family knows his name.
