for several years after the war to study music. He wore a gold wedding ring, but as far as anyone knew, he never married. He used to arrive unannounced and stay for weeks at a time. He lived in Opelika, Alabama and is buried in LaGrange, GA.

This is the wedding photo of Thomas & Laura Jane Hunley Bryant. They were married in southern Illinois. He worked as a coal miner for most of his life. She was a school teacher. They had seven children, and four that reached adulthood. They are both buried in Olympia Washington. They were both born in Kentucky. He was born in Wayne Co., and she was born in Metcalfe Co. They moved to Longview, WA in 1924, and spent the rest of their lives in that state.
