Henry Day
Cartes de visite (aka CDV) rescued from an estate sale in Longview, TX. On back: W. McClellan, Artistic Photographer (successor to J. R. Davis), 705 Main St., Dallas, Texas. Henry Day is probably somehow related to the Penn family of Morgan Co., Alabama and Hopkins Co., Texas.

Unknown Penn, Pickens or Patrick
Tintype rescued from an estate sale in Longview TX. Other pictures in that collection were labeled as descendents of Stephen and Mary [McKay] Penn, or W. L. Pickens or Newton and Martha [Dalrymple] Patrick of Alabama and Hopkins Co., TX.

Newton and Martha (Dalrymple) Patrick
This is a 16 x 20 picture, either a hand drawing or a hand tinted picture rescued from an estate sale in Longview, TX. On the back is written: Newton Patrick, Born May 7, 1852, Died Jan 1930; Martha Dalrymple Patrick, Born Feb. 10, 1855, Died Oct 9, 1905. It appears they were both born in Ala., and migrated to Hopkins Co., Texas.

Mrs W. L. Pickens funeral card
Rescued from an estate sale in Longview, Texas. Mrs. W. L. Pickens, Died Mar 5, 1891. Mr W. L. Pickens, a 70-yr-old widow is listed as father-in-law in the household of W. W. and Mary E. Penn in the 1900 Hopkins Co., TX census. From the photos found, there seem to be connections to the Stephen and Mary McKay Penn family of Ala. and TX, and the Newton and Martha Dalrymple Patrick families.

Mrs W. W. Penn (Alice Pickens)
Photo rescued from an estate sale in Longview, Texas. Research from the identifiable pictures found Newton and Martha Dalrymple Patrick and Stephen and Mary McKay Penn had a family connection. The Penns seem to have migrated from Alabama to Hopkins Co., TX in the 1850s.
