Emit Owen Laffoon 1916 Kentucky
Uncle Owen (Emit Owen Laffoon) married Iva McCulley 1917. He was a farmer, & they lived in a farmhouse near Earlington, Ky. Aunt Ivy had a massive stroke in her 50's or 60's & was bedridden (my grandparents, Edd & Audrey McCulley were there at least every week, and g'ma helped care for her & did their laundry)... before the stroke, Ivy reportedly loved music & dancing. Uncle Owen had a pond full of huge catfish that he called & hand-fed... grandma's kindergarten classes visited the farm to watch the catfish feeding. They had a succession of dogs named Blackie. And a party line, where we heard the latest gossip about people we didn't know.

James A Pogue and family
This is a picture of James A Pogue with his wife Letha Jane Sanders and sons Elmer and Floyd Pogue and I believe Ora Idella Pogue. I need any information on James. He was born Sept 1846 in Tennessee and died about 1915 in Franklin County Tennessee. He was buried in Gault Cemetery in Coffee County Tennessee. It has been told that his mother was first cousin to Jasper Newton (Jack) Daniel. Can anyone please help.
