1827 Birmingham Membership Card - William Lewis
1827 Birmingham Membership Card - William Lewis
Membership card belonging to William Lewis, but for what type of society is unknown. On the back of the card is a record of quarterly entries of 3 and 3/6, there is no entry for the last quarter of the year. Next to each payment is an oval cartouche hand stamp with the initials BFS.

Can anyone identify the institution portrayed in the picture? Does anyone know this William Lewis? He had a daughter named Harriet b. Feb 1820, she married John Robinson b. March 1810.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
