2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

He married Mary Jane McHugh/McEwen (born Bury, Lancashire) 6/9/1909 St Joseph, Bury, Lancashire and they had a son Herbert McNulty in 1912. He was a bricklayer. His WW1 medals were Victory & British and he signed up 21/11/1914 in Bury, Lancashire with the Royal Irish Regiment, with home address 22 Haslam Street, Bury, Lancashire which was the family home of his wife. Her brother, John McHugh/McEwen, same address, born Ainsworth, Lancashire, also died in WW1, 16/8/1917 in Belgium, was in the 2nd Battalion of the Hampshire Regiment, 21409. I have John McNulty's birth as c1882 Rochdale, Lancashire (from the 1911 census returns).
