Greetings.
I am a part-time family historian researching my Russian-born German family roots. By invitation of Catherine the Great, my German ancestors immigrated to Russia, settling in the Huck and Norka colonies in Saratov, Russia. During the late 1800's and early 1900's emigration from Russia brought my family lines to the United States and Argentina. Primary surnames of interest include:
BOHL, KAHLER, STERKEL, SCHULTHEIS OR SCHULDEIS, FEUERSTEIN, ZITTERKOPF OR ZITTERKOPH, SCHLEUNING, SPREIER AND HUCK.

Georg Michael & Elisabeth Schultheis Wedding Day
Wedding photo of Georg Michael and Elisabeth Schultheis (1850-1931). In 1906, the Schultheis' immigrated from Russia to San Antonio, Argentina. George Michael and Elisabeth immigrated with two sons, Philipp (Felipe) and John. Their three daughters: Anna Margaret Schuldeis Bohl, Elizabeth Schuldeis Huck and Katherine Schuldeis Spreier immigrated to the midwest United States, thus were separated by distance from their parents & brother's families.

Snapshot of Philipp (or Felipe) Schultheis' blacksmith shop in San Antonio, Argentina. In 1906, Felipe (1889-1950), a Russian born German, immigrated with his parents to San Antonio, Argentina. In 1909, Felipe married Barbara Michel. Felipe also had a brother, John (& family)in Argentina, as well as three sisters who settled in the midwest US: Anna Margaret Schuldeis Bohl, Elizabeth Schuldeis Huck, and Katherine Schuldeis Spreier. Felipe Schultheis died in 1950 at the age of 61.

Philpp (Felipe) Schultheis family. In 1906, Felipe, a Russian born German, immigrated to Argentina with his parents (Georg Michael & Elisabeth Schultheis), and brother John. Three sisters to Felipe & John: Anna Margaret Schuldeis Bohl, Elizabeth Schuldeis Huck and Katherine Spreier immigrated to the midwest US. Felipe married Barbara Michel in 1909 and died in 1950 at age 61.

In 1906, Felipe, a Russian-born German, immigrated to San Antonio, Argentina from Huck, Saratov, Russia. Felipe made the journey with his parents, Georg Michael & Elisabeth Schultheis (1850-1931), and a brother John. Georg Michael & Elisabeth also had three daughters who immigrated from Russia and settled in the midwest U.S.: Anna Margaret Schuldeis Bohl, Elizabeth Schuldeis Huck and Katherine Schuldeis Spreier.

Elisabeth Schultheis Obituary
Obituary of Elisabeth Schultheis (1850-1931), b. Huck Russia. Elisabeth immigrated to Argentina in 1906 where she lived the remainder of her life. Survivors included her 2 sons, Philipp & John (in Argentina), and 3 daughters in the U.S. Her daughters, Anna Margaret Schuldeis Bohl, Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Schuldeis Huck and Kathrine Schuldeis Spreier immigrated to the U.S. from Huck, Saratov Russia. Elisabeth was also survived by 45 grandchildren, 80 g-grandchildren,4 g-g grandchildren and kindred spirits.
