My name is Lauren Margaret Kowunna my maiden name is Segevan. I am the 2nd oldest daughter of Leslie Saulaq Segevan and Anita Okomailuk. I am married to Chester James Kowunna of Point Hope. I am originally from Wainwright Alaska but grew up all over Anchorage, Barrow , Nuiqsut and Boise Idaho.
About my family:
I am the granddaughter of Daniel and Dorcus Okomailuk Sr my moms parents. Felton and Ella Segevan my dads parents. I have a sister who was born 05/05/1982 her name is Sheila Koenig maiden name Segevan, Cyrus N Segevan 07/03/1987, Clarence T Segevan 06/17/1990 and Daniel F Segevan 09/23/1993. I have a son names Simon Saul Koonook-Kowunna born 04/15/2016.

Felton Segevan of Anchorage, Anchorage County, Alaska United States was born on January 21, 1931, and had a brother Sheldon Segevan. Felton Segevan died at age 63 years old on January 17, 1995 in Anchorage, and was buried in Wainwright, North Slope County.
