Just looking at this web site and thought I'd register as a member. I have been trying to trace my grandmother's Indian Heritage in the Quebec Province of Canada and have hit many stumbling blocks on this road. Her family name is Larmie; in Canada it is spelled Laramee, Larmey and other ways. I am VERY aware of the "dit" names of the Quebec Province and was wondering if there is anyone out there that could help me I would greatly appreciate the assistance.
