Orrin Denver Burright, WWI
Orrin Denver Burright, aka O D, son of Orrin Ulysses and Ora Nathene (Smith) Burright, as he was leaving for the Army during WWI .
Family story is that the Burright family was leaving on a trip and they left O D standing by the mailbox waiting to hitch a ride to town with the mail carrier to go off to war. I never understood why they didn't take him. It was probably the wrong direction?
