Paul James Stewart (1922-2011) son of Milas Andrew and Dora "Gailys" (Burright) Stewart. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in Oklahoma, was stationed in Coffeyville, KS and 3 different bases in San Antonio, TX. He was a Crew Chief on a Mechanical Maintenance crew for Airplane servicing. He said he felt a little guilty because he did not go Overseas like many of his family and friends, but he was stationed where the Army wanted him to be. After being discharged in 1946 he remained in the Reserves for another 10 years.

Orrin Denver Burright, aka O D, son of Orrin Ulysses and Ora Nathene (Smith) Burright, as he was leaving for the Army during WWI .

Family story is that the Burright family was leaving on a trip and they left O D standing by the mailbox waiting to hitch a ride to town with the mail carrier to go off to war. I never understood why they didn't take him. It was probably the wrong direction?
