He was married to Isabel Dorothy (Simmers) Tronco, and they were together until Joseph's death on March 1, 1984. He had children Lori Tronco, Lisa Marie (Tronco) Pizzo, Tara Nicole Tronco, and Ramona Angelina (Tronco) Coppola. Joseph Tronco was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery 626 Baily Rd, in Yeadon, Delaware County.

Tara is laid back and funny but when needed comes serious when it's important, but she is also very sentimental. She's an amazing sister and an even better mother of her own 3 children whom she adores.
Ramona was born to Joseph Tronco and Isabel Tronco (Simmers) on March 10th 1981 in Philadelphia, PA.
