Photo of Sarah Jane Elizabeth Witherspoon in her old age. She was one of 10 children born to Joseph H. Witherspoon and Rebecca A. Bell. She was born on 18 Nov 1863 in Ellis Co., Tx. She married Robert Tomlinson Smith from Illinois on 12 Oct 1881. Together they had 11 children. She is descended from Scotish royalty and is 1st cousin 5 times removed to John Witherspoon, the signer of the Declaration of Independence. She died on 17 Aug 1951 in Dallas co., Tx.
David Carlous Williams, Sr.
D.C. Williams, Sr. was born on 16 Jan 1905 in Kaufman co., Tx. He was the youngest of three children born to David Polk Williams and Nora Aletha Smith. He married Eva Cleo Haire on 24 Nov 1923 in Dallas, Tx. Together they had two children. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII and saw action in the Pacific. He died of cancer on 12 Mar 1965 at his home in Dallas, Tx.

Mary Ann Coker was 3rd of six children born to Simeon Miles Coker and wife, Sarah. She was born in Jackson Parish, La. on 13 May 1852. She came to Texas with her family around 1870 where they settled around Denton co. She married Elam Hayne Sharpe in Denton co. on 23 Apr 1876. She died on a train while en route to Dallas from Kansas City on 9 Jan 1924.
