Lola Felden
About me:
Single vegetarian, Artist ( Painter ) lived in Caracas, Venezuela ( 11 years ), North Africa ( 2 years, Mexico City ( 2 years ). Visited 22 countries, Fluent Spanish as a second language. My photo won third place out of 25,000 entries in Mexico’s Photo Competition from Fuji Films, Japan. Winner of Florida’s Tallahassee State Capital Juried Competition for Florida Natural or Historical Places. My painting is on permanent exposition at The State Capital. My original painting was juried accepted to participate in a joint exhibit ( The Sound Of Many Waters ) composed by Israeli and American Jews. I continue to paint and currently working on my manuscript. Hope to have it published in year 2020.
About my family:
My father was born in Brandenburg Germany, deceased when I was 2 years old. My mother’s parents emigrated to the USA from Austria. Mother is deceased. My only sibling, Janice Felden was also a Painter, deceased in 2005

She was very close to her mother, loved her older sister Janice May Felden, both born and raised in Manhattan NYC, influenced by the Arts and Culture of their great city’s environment. Sister Janice received her BFA in Augusta Maine while she lived there with her family. Lola married a Venezuelan student and moved to Caracas where her husband graduated as a Civil Engineer and Involved in the Government. As a newly single woman Lola worked in Caracas, Assistant to a Orthopedist Surgeon, Cardiologist to the President, as Bilingual expert for the National Tele Communications Dept, bilingual secretary/translator for the Vice-President of a International Mining-Engineering Co. she was a student at private institutions. Afterwards she lived in North Africa, Mexico City and presently made her home in Florida. She visited 22 countries.
