2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Carmen, known to her family and friends as Millie, was a loving and kind person. She grew up in Bayamon, PR, in a place known to locals as "La Cambija". She was the eldest of six, and together lived with both their surviving mother and late father. She first found love with a Vietnam veteran, and ventured to New York where she had her first born son, and daughter. Years later she moved back to Puerto Rico as a single mother. Then she found love once again, got married and had her third child, a daughter. They found a place to call home in Levittown, PR. For ten years it was a happy home, but destiny took love from her again, and she found her way to Tampa, FL where she reunited with her older daughter and later remarried. She became a grandmother, a very proud and joyful one. Her older daughter was blessed with three, and her youngest daughter with two, that she was able to hold in her arms and love them. Sadly the lord called her home on April 27, 2005 and was unable to do the same with a fourth grandson by her older daughter, and her first born and only son's set of twins, a boy and a girl. Although she is gone, she will never be forgotten. Her spirit is always with her loved ones where she is watching over them.
