Lori Callaway
About me:
I started getting involved in genealogy when my mother did, back in the 1970's, and I was probably about 10 years old, and its stuck with me ever since. She died in 1993 and I have picked up where she left off, and hopefully I will be able to fill in more of the blanks. I know she would be proud that I have filled in quite a few so far. I am a stayhome mom of 3 and stepmom of 2 with a wonderful husband, and they all support me in my 'digging'. Names I have been researching, Shaw, Jansson/Wilson, Petersen/Peterson, Whitney, Rumsey, Callaway, Norford, Short, Hraban. The Jansson's were from Sweden and changed their names to Wilson, The Petersen's came from Denmark, the Shaw's, Norford's, and Short's from England, Hraban's from Czech. American locations mostly are linked as follows: IL/IA-Shaw, Petersen, Whitney, Rumsey NC, MD, VA and all southern states for Norford & Callaway
About my family:
I haven't shared details about my family.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
