I have no direct memories, just stories from my mother. She was his child , Juanita, born in Claifornia to him and his first wife, Ruth Sharples. Ruth died when my mother was 4 or 5 and Ruth's relatives from Pennsylvania came and through the Courts took the child back to
Scranton. My mother only saw her father one more time, when she was an adult, married with two children--he came East for one visit. She speaks of him glowingly and how wonderful he was to her and the love he had for her mother
