2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Mom was truly the best mom and grandma anyone could ask for. Her whoke life was devoted to her family. She was talented beyond belief-- she was an excellent cook and baker. She taught herself to see, knit, and crochet. She would help anyone just because it was the right thing to do. I sure miss my Lena Lou.

My dad was an amazing man. His childhood was difficult, to say the least, and when his mother died shortly after his 15th birthday, he had to grow up overnight and rause himself. He proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He came hone, met and married my mother. Despite having no real role model, he was an amazing family man. He is dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him. I have no doubt he and Mom are waltzing up in Heaven,❤

Dave, or Nini, as we all knew him, was best friends with my dad. In their younger years, the two of them were inseparable. Later on, my parents and Nini and his wife were together much of the time. I remember hot summer days when Nini would walk over to our house, a white handkerchief tied on his head to keep it from burning. He would walk straight to the garden, grab a tomato, and woukd send me in the house for the salt shaker. After a while, I had the salt shaker waiting for him when he got there. I remember how his wjole face lit up when he laughed and how he woukd do anything for anyone.

Dolly was a friend of my parents and like a dear aunt to me. I spent a great deal of time with her growing up and miss her greatly.
