2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Therese Golden McNulty
All my memories of Terry are fond ones. I loved her dearly. Amanda Stevenson. My older sister, Therese (Golden) Foy McNulty passed 13 years ago today, she taught us so much, and gave her heart and soul to her siblings and her children and grandchildren. Most of all, she taught us to love and respect each other which was the message that our dad, Jim Golden had always taught us. Her bravery in her last months here at my home were remarkable. She worked until the night before she died. Her children had watched her rally but sadly had left and gone back home. She waited patiently for hours to see her older son John the Saturday after Thanksgiving as he promised he would come to see her....he never came, we finally called & he said he was busy..she wanted to talk to him but then she passed away a few days later.. never seeing any of her children or grandchildren again again...they were too busy. I was blessed to have her here and take care of her...and we shared such a special time that no one can take away. She was ever so brave .. just like our dad was, my mother, my brother and sister Dolores. Being stoic runs in our family. We handle pain & do not make it a topic of discussion. I miss you Therese, you were a second mom to me, 22 years older and oh, so wise and caring. You always predicted how people would act. I never believed it until they did. You always said to me,“There are no tears in heaven.” Thank God. Therese, please watch over all of us. Until we meet again, know how much I love you . . .Love, Your Sister, Margaret Mary Golden Moscater.
